Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2004 tournament promotional cards
Although "Kanan the Swordmistress" and "Sengenjin" were given out as prizes at a tournament run by Toys 'R' Us, they are not Toys 'R' Us tournament promos. The copies of "Kanan the Swordmistress" given to store champions were leftovers from a Shonen Jump promotion in Japan the year before. As such, they are not tournament legal in any Upper Deck-sanctioned tournament, being officially classed as "Asian-English" cards.
The copies of "Sengenjin" given out to all participants were also leftovers, this time from that year's World Tournament series. Unlike "Kanan the Swordmistress", "Sengenjin" is tournament legal in Upper Deck-sanctioned tournaments. (In fact, "Sengenjin" is the only World Championship Series promo that is legal in sanctioned English-language play.)
