'''Blue Angel and Spectre's Duel''' is the fifteenth [[Duel]] of the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS]]'' anime, conducted between [[Skye Zaizen|Blue Angel]] and [[Spectre]].

The Tower of Hanoi was recently activated, giving [[Yusaku Fujiki|Playmaker]], [[Gore]] and Blue Angel limited time to shut it down. On the way to the Tower, Blue Angel encounters Spectre, who would not allow Blue Angel to pass unless she defeated him in a Master Duel.

Spectre [[Normal Summon]]s "[[Sunseed Genius Loci]]" (0/600) and uses it to [[Link Summon]] "[[Sunavalon Dryas]]" (0/↓) to the [[Extra Monster Zone]]. The effect of "Dryas" prevents it from being [[attack]]ed, but it does not prevent Blue Angel's [[monster]]s from attacking [[Direct attack|directly]]. "Dryas" also cannot be used as [[Link Material]] the turn it was Link Summoned. Spectre [[Set]]s a card.

Blue Angel's [[hand]] contains two copies of "Trickstar Lycoris", "Trickstar Candina", "Trickstar Light Stage", "Trickstar Light Arena", and "Trickstar Treat". Blue Angel Normal Summons "[[Trickstar Candina (anime)|Trickstar Candina]]" (1800/400). As "Candina" was Normal Summoned, Blue Angel [[activate]]s its [[effect]], [[Add a card|adding]] a "[[Trickstar]]" card from her [[Main Deck|Deck]] to her hand. She adds "[[Trickstar Reincarnation (anime)|Trickstar Reincarnation]]". Blue Angel activates the [[Field Spell Card]] "[[Trickstar Light Stage (anime)|Trickstar Light Stage]]". As "Light Stage" was activated, Blue Angel adds a "Trickstar" monster from her Deck to her hand. She adds "[[Trickstar Lilybell (anime)|Trickstar Lilybell]]". As "Lilybell" was added to Blue Angel's hand using a method other than drawing, Blue Angel activates its effect, Special Summoning it (800/2000). Blue Angel activates the Field Spell Card "[[Trickstar Light Arena (anime)|Trickstar Light Arena]]". Blue Angel activates the effect of "Light Arena", preventing Spectre from activating a Set card in his [[Spell & Trap Zone]] while "Light Arena" is in the Field Zone until the [[End Phase]], when he must activate it, or else it is [[return]]ed to his hand. Blue Angel activates the effect of both copies of "[[Trickstar Lycoris (anime)|Trickstar Lycoris]]" in her hand, Special Summoning them, then returning a "Trickstar" monster she controls back to her hand. She Special Summons both in Attack Position (1600/1200 each), then returns "Candina" to her hand. Blue Angel uses both copies of "Lycoris" to Link Summon "[[Trickstar Holly Angel (anime)|Trickstar Holly Angel]]" (2000/↙↘) to the Extra Monster Zone. As she Link Summoned a "Trickstar" [[Link Monster]], Blue Angel activates the effect of "Light Arena", Special Summoning a "Trickstar" monster from the [[Graveyard|GY]] that was used as its material. She Special Summons "Lycoris" (1600/1200) in Attack Position to the zone the bottom-left [[Link Arrow]] of "Holly Angel" [[points to]]. As a "Trickstar" monster was Normal or Special Summoned to a zone "Holly Angel" points to, its effect inflicts 200 [[Effect damage|damage]] to Spectre (Spectre: 4000 → 3800 [[LP]]). As Spectre took damage from a "Trickstar" monster's effect, "Holly Angel" gains [[ATK]] equal to the damage he took ("Holly Angel": 2000 → 2200 ATK).

He Special Summons "[[Sunvine Gardna]]" (600/↑) to the zone the bottom-center Link Arrow of "Dryas" points to (Spectre: 3000 → 3800 LP). As "Lilybell" inflicted [[battle damage]] to Spectre, Blue Angel activates its effect, adding a "Trickstar" monster from her GY to her hand. She adds her second copy of "Lycoris" to her hand. "Holly Angel" attacks "Sunvine Gardna". As Blue Angel's monster attacked "Gardna", Spectre activates its effect, reducing any battle damage he would take from that battle by 800 times the [[Link Rating]] of a "Sunavalon" Link Monster that points to it, in this case one. The attack continues and "Gardna" is [[destroy]]ed, with its effect reducing the battle damage by 800 (Spectre: 3800 → 3000 LP). As "Sunvine Gardna" was destroyed during the [[Battle Phase]], its effect activates, ending the Battle Phase. Blue Angel activates the effect of "Lycoris" in her hand, Special Summoning it in Attack Position (1600/1200), then returning "Lilybell" to her hand. Blue Angel Sets a card.

As "Healer" was Special Summoned, Spectre activates its effect, gaining 300 LP times the Link Rating of a "Sunavalon" Link Monster that points to it, in this case one (Spectre: 2800 → 3100 LP). The attack continues and both "Thrasher" and "Holly Angel" are destroyed, then Spectre Special Summons "Holly Angel" (2000/↙↘) to the zone the bottom-right Link Arrow of "Dryades" points to. "Holly Angel" attacks and destroys "Lycoris" (Blue Angel: 4000 → 3600 LP).

Once per turn, Spectre can Special Summon a [[Level]] 4 or lower Plant [[Normal Monster]] from the GY. He activates this effect to Special Summon the Level 1 "Genius Loci" (0/600) from the GY. Spectre uses "Genius Loci" to Link Summon "Thrasher" (800/↓) to the zone the bottom-left Link Arrow of "Dryanome" points to. The attack continues and "Crimson Heart" is destroyed (Blue Angel: 3800 → 5000 LP), then Spectre Special Summons "Crimson Heart" (2000/↙→) to the zone the bottom-center Link Arrow of "Dryanome" points to. "Holly Angel" and "Crimson Heart" attack Blue Angel directly (Blue Angel: 5000 → 3000 → 1000 LP).

Blue Angel Normal Summons "[[Trickstar Nightshade (anime)|Trickstar Nightshade]]" (100/0) and uses it to Link Summon "Trickstar Bloom" (100/↓) to the Extra Monster Zone. As "Bloom" was Link Summoned, Blue Angel activates its effect, making Spectre draw a card. As "Nightshade" was sent to the GY as Link Material for the Link Summon of a "Trickstar" monster, Blue Angel activates its effect to Special Summon it from the GY (100/0). Blue Angel uses "Bloom" and "Nightshade" to Link Summon "[[Trickstar Black Catbat (anime)|Trickstar Black Catbat]]" (2000/←→) to the Extra Monster Zone. As she Link Summoned a "Trickstar" monster, Blue Angel activates the effect of "Light Arena", Special Summoning "Nightshade" (100/0). "Delfiendium" attacks "Crimson Heart". As "Delfiendium" attacked while pointing to a "Trickstar" monster, Blue Angel activates the effect of "Delfiendium", returning banished cards to her hand, up to the number of Link Monsters Spectre controls, then increasing the ATK of "Delfiendium" by 1000 for each card returned until the end of this turn, however, Blue Angel cannot Set cards, nor activate the effects of "Trickstar" cards in her hand this turn. She returns three copies of "Reincarnation" to her hand ("Delfiendium": 2200 → 5200 ATK). As a monster "Dryanome" points to is attacked, Spectre activates its effect, moving that monster to another [[Main Monster Zone]] to negate that attack. During the End Phase, Spectre activates the effect of "Shrine", sending it to the GY to Set a Trap Card from his GY<ref group=Notes name="discard2">This card was not shown, but based on the cards that were played afterwards it was "Sunbloom Doom"</ref>.

 

Spectre activates the effect of "Sunbloom Doom" in his GY, banishing it to destroy as monsters on the field as possible with a Level less than or equal to the total number of Spell/Trap Cards that were activated and sent to the GY this turn, then inflicting 500 damage to each player for each of their monsters destroyed. A total of five Trap Cards were activated this turn, so Spectre destroys both Level 3 "Lycoris" (Blue Angel: 1000 → 0 LP).
