- In episode 98, Astral uses this card during his Duel against Vector while the former was corrupted by darkness and had fused with Yuma Tsukumo to create Dark ZEXAL. He draws this card via Dark Draw and Normal Summons this card. Astral then activates this card's first effect to destroy "Vain Betrayer" and equip this card to "Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray V". Due to this card's second effect, the effects of "Utopia Ray V" are negated. "Utopia Ray V" then attacks "Number 104: Masquerade". This card's third effect prevents "Utopia Ray V" from being destroyed and Astral activates this card's final effect to double the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" and let it attack again. "Utopia Ray V" then attacks "Masquerade" again, but Vector activates "Extra Hundred" to prevent "Masquerade" from being destroyed and allow "Utopia Ray V" to attack again. "Utopia Ray V" attacks "Masquerade" again, but the final effect of "Extra Hundred" makes the ATK of "Masquerade" equal to the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" plus 100. This card's third effect prevents "Utopia Ray V" from being destroyed and Astral activates this card's final effect to double the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" and let it attack again. The reckless loop Astral conducted with this card is repeated three more times, resulting in the ATK of "Utopia Ray V" becoming 83200 and the ATK of "Masquerade" becoming 41700 (Due to the darkness corrupting Astral, he didn't care about the reckless attacks and damage he took). "Utopia Ray V" attacks again, but Yuma cancels Dark ZEXAL at this point (removing the darkness's influence over Astral) and ends his turn to avoid losing the Duel. Later Vector activates the second effect of "Chaos Number 104: Umbral Horror Masquerade" to destroy this card, removing the ATK boosts this card gave to "Utopia Ray V".
