Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's[edit]

  • In episode 110, Jakob summons this card and every other main component of "Meklord Emperor Granel" to reveal to Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, and Crow Hogan the newest Meklord Emperor that the Three Pure Nobles now have.
  • In episode 132, Jakob uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Jack Atlas. He Special Summons "Meklord Emperor Granel", "Granel Top", this card, "Granel Guard", and "Granel Carrier" via the effect of "Grand Core". After "Meklord Emperor Granel" attacks and destroys "Red Nova Dragon" and defeats Jack, Jakob activates this card's effect to take "Red Nova Dragon" from Jack's Graveyard and equip it to "Meklord Emperor Granel". Due to the effect of "Meklord Emperor Granel", it gains ATK equal to the ATK of "Red Nova Dragon". Jack then passes the baton to Crow Hogan who proceeds in Dueling Jakob.
  • In episode 133, Jakob uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Crow. Later Jakob activates this card's effect to treat "Red Nova Dragon" as an Attack Position monster in his Spell & Trap Card Zone during the Battle Phase only and give it the ability to inflict piercing damage during the Battle Phase. At the end of the Battle Phase, "Red Nova Dragon" becomes an Equip Card again. On Jakob's next turn, he activates this card's effect to treat "Red Nova Dragon" as an Attack Position monster in his Spell & Trap Card Zone during the Battle Phase only and give it the ability to inflict piercing damage during the Battle Phase. After Jakob defeats, Crow and Crow activates the effect of "Hillen the Tengu-wind" to revive itself and "Ghibli the Searing Wind", Crow activates "Urgent Tuning" to immediately tune "Blackwing - Ghibli the Searing Wind" with "Blackwing - Hillen the Tengu-wind" and Synchro Summon "Black-Winged Dragon". Due to the WRGP rulings, it immediately goes to Jakob's End Phase. "Red Nova Dragon" then becomes an Equip Card again due to it being the end of the Battle Phase. Crow then passes the baton to Yusei Fudo who proceeds in Dueling Jakob.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Crow has when he notes he could use the effect of "Hillen the Tengu-wind" to summon it and a Level 3 monster in his Graveyard when he takes at least 2000 Battle Damage. This would allow Crow to activate "Urgent Tuning" and Synchro Summon "Black-Winged Dragon" which could intercept the attack of "Meklord Emperor Granel". Crow notes that would be useless as "Granel Attack" will equip it to "Meklord Emperor Granel" once the latter destroys "Black-Winged Dragon". If that happens, Yusei will have to deal with "Meklord Emperor Granel" and two Synchro Monsters when Crow passes the baton to him.
  • In episode 134, Jakob uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei. Later "Meklord Emperor Granel" attacks "Black-Winged Dragon" (Jakob intends to use this card's effect to equip "Black-Winged Dragon" to "Meklord Emperor Granel" when it destroys "Black-Winged Dragon" in battle), however Yusei activates the effect of "Wave Wall" to negate the attack. Jakob then activates "Attack Cannon" to send this card to the Graveyard and destroy "Black-Winged Dragon".
  • In episode 137, Aporia uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei. When "Red Nova Dragon" (whose ATK was 4500 due to its own effect) attacks "Meklord Astro Mekanikle" (whose ATK was 2600 due to the second effect of "Black-Winged Dragon"), Aporia banishes this card from his Graveyard via "Meklord Astro Mekanikle's" effect in order to prevent "Mekanikle" from being destroyed, however he still takes damage.
  • In episode 146, Aporia uses this card during his Ground Duel against Z-one. He Special Summons this card, "Meklord Emperor Granel", "Granel Top", "Granel Guard", and "Granel Carrier" via the effect of "Grand Core". After "Time Angel" attacks "Meklord Emperor Granel" and "Meklord Empror Granel" destroys "Time Angel", Z-one activates "Foolish Decision" from his hand to reduce the damage to 0. The effect of "Time Angel" then activates, returning this card and the other Granel parts to Aporia's hand. Z-one then activates "Magician's Adage" from his hand to inflict 1500 damage to Aporia (300 damage for each card returned to Aporia's hand).
  • In episode 147, this card appears in Crow's explanation when he explains to Leo that the Meklord Emperors can only be summoned while each of the Meklord Emperor's parts are in the Deck. Since Aporia was milling his Deck for a strategy he had thought out from the beginning of the Duel, Crow explains that it's a good thing that Aporia is using his monsters to help him reduce the number of cards in his Deck.
