- In episode 112, Mr. Heartland receives this card from Vector to use against Yuma Tsukumo.
- In episode 122, Mr. Heartland uses this card during his Duel against Kite Tenjo. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying his three copies of "Infection Fly" (who were all Level 8 through their own effects). Mr. Heartland then activates this card's first effect to send "Number 2: Ninja Shadow Mosquito" from Kite's Extra Deck to the Graveyard. Later "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" attacks this card and Kite activates the first effect of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" to banish both battling monsters. At the end of the Battle Phase, this card and "Galaxy-Eyes" are Special Summoned and "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" gains 1500 ATK (500 for each Overlay Unit this card had when it was banished) Later, Mr. Heartland activates this card's third effect to attach "Ninja Shadow Mosquito" from Kite's Graveyard to this card as an Overlay Unit. He then activates this card's fourth effect to detach an Overlay Unit, destroy "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" and inflict damage to Kite equal to the ATK of "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon", but Kite activates "Prevent and Draw" to halve the damage and draw a card, but Kite collapses before he can draw a card and is unable to continue the duel. In the next episode, Yuma takes over the duel for Kite and uses the effect of "Prevent and Draw" to draw a card after Yuma drawing an opening hand. This card attacks directly, but Yuma activates the first effect of "Rainbow Kuriboh" to equip the latter to this card and prevent it from attacking. Later "Number 39: Utopia" attacks this card, but Mr. Heartland (believing Yuma will use the effect of "Utopia" to negate the attack and then activate "Double or Nothing!") activates "Overlay Hunt" to negate the effect of "Utopia" and attach the latter's Overlay Units to this card instead. Yuma then activates "Stop Hammer" to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of "Utopia" by 500. Yuma then activates "Double or Nothing!" to double the ATK of "Utopia" and let it attack again. "Utopia" then attacks and destroys this card. Mr. Heartland then activates "Infection Medium" to Special Summon five "Infection Bug Tokens".
- After the Duel, all four "Barian Numbers" belonging to the Fearsome Four of the Dark Dueling World come out of Mr. Heartland (as he had absorbed "Number 3: Cicada King" and "Number 4: Stealth Kragen" during his Duel against Kite) and subsequently destroy themselves and incinerate Mr. Heartland.
