OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Catapult Turtle" is an Ignition Effect that activates on the field. (This effect does not target. Tributing 1 monster in your Monster Zone is the cost to activate this effect. You can also Tribute a face-down Defense Position monster in your Monster Zone.)[1]
- If you Tribute a face-up monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the Tributed monster's ATK on the field.[1]
- If you Tribute a face-down Defense Position monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the original ATK listed on the Tributed monster.[1]

- Tributing 1 monster is a cost. This effect is an Ignition Effect.
- The inflicted damage is equal to half the total ATK of the monster at the time it was Tributed.
- When you Tribute a face-down monster, the damage is equal to half the monster's original ATK while it is in the Graveyard.
