TCG Rulings
Mentions in Other Rulings
- Rockstone Warrior: If you attack with “Rockstone Warrior” and your opponent activates “Dimension Wall,” you still take no damage from the attack, due to “Rockstone Warrior’s” effect.
- Shining Silver Force: You cannot chain “Shining Silver Force” to a card that shifts battle damage, like “Dimension Wall”.
OCG Rulings
- "Dimension Wall" can be activated when your opponent declares a direct attack. When activated, during Damage Calculation, it will cause the damage to be inflicted to your opponent instead.[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - The effect of "Dimension Wall" is applied during damage calculation and cannot be chained to.
- If your opponent already activated "Waboku" this turn, then they cannot take battle damage, so you cannot activate "Dimension Wall". However, you can chain "Dimension Wall" to "Waboku" if the timing is appropriate.
- If "Don Zaloog" attacks and "Dimension Wall" is used, neither player gets the effect of "Don Zaloog".
- "Dimension Wall" is not an effect that targets.
