OCG Rulings
- The effect that Special Summons this card is an Ignition Effect that activates in the hand. (It does not target.)[1]
- The effect that adds 1 Level 5 or higher "@Ignister" monster from your Deck to your hand is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target. Tributing 1 other Cyberse monster in your Monster Zone is a cost to activate this effect.)[1]
- The process that adds 1 Level 5 or higher "@Ignister" monster from your Deck to your hand and makes this card's Level become 4, and the process that adds 1 "A.I.'s Ritual" from your Deck to your hand, are not considered to happen at the same time. (If you do not add 1 "A.I.'s Ritual" to your hand, the effect finishes resolving by adding 1 "@Ignister" monster to your hand and making this card's Level become 4.)[1]
- Q: If "Fire Phoenix @Ignister" is Tributed to activate the effect of "Hiyari @Ignister", and the effect of "Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit" is activated in Chain, so that "Hiyari @Ignister" is destroyed, how does the effect resolve?
- A: In this case, the process that adds 1 Level 5 or higher "@Ignister" monster from the Deck to the hand is applied, but since the "Hiyari @Ignister" that activated the effect was destroyed and is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone, the process that makes its Level become 4 is not applied. In this case, the process that adds 1 "A.I.'s Ritual" from the Deck to the hand cannot be applied.[2]
