OCG Rulings

  • The effect that allows you to activate "Magical Musket" Spell/Trap Cards from your hand is a Continuous Effect.[1]
  • The effect that shuffles 3 "Magical Musket" cards into the Deck and draws 1 card is a Trigger Effect. (It targets 3 "Magical Musket" cards in your Graveyard. It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
  • If a Spell/Trap Card is activated in a Spell/Trap Zone that is in the same column as "Magical Musketeer Wild", this effect activates after it resolves. (This effect is not activated in Chain to the activation of the Spell/Trap Card.)[1]
  • Even if a non-"Magical Musket" Spell/Trap Card is activated in this card's column, you can activate its effect to shuffle 3 cards into the Deck and draw a card.[1]
  • Shuffling the targeted cards into the Deck and drawing a card do not happen at the same time.[1]

Q&A Rulings

  • Q: I activated "Creature Swap" in a Spell & Trap Zone that is in the same column as my opponent's face-up "Magical Musketeer Wild". When it resolves, I gain control of "Magical Musketeer Wild" and place it in my Main Monster Zone in a different column from "Creature Swap". In this case, can I activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Wild"?
A: Even in this case, a Spell Card was activated in the column of "Magical Musketeer Wild", and you can activate its effect. (You can activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Wild" regardless of its location after changing control.) However, if "Creature Swap" was activated in a different column from "Magical Musketeer Wild", you cannot activate the effect of "Magical Musketeer Wild" regardless of its location after changing control.[2]
