Card Rulings:Royal Knight
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Royal Knight" is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- You gain Life Points equal to the original DEF of the monster that was destroyed and sent to the Graveyard.[1]
- This effect activates mandatorily when "Royal Knight" destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard (= at the end of the Damage Step).[1]
- This effect does not activate if "Royal Knight" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
