OCG Rulings
- "If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, or if this card you control is sent to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: You can target 1 monster in either player's Graveyard, except "Samsara, Dragon of Rebirth"; Special Summon it." effect is a Trigger Effect. (This effect targets 1 monster in either player's Graveyard. It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- This effect can be activated if this card is destroyed either by attacking an opponent's monster or by being attacked by an opponent's monster.[1]
- This effect can be activated if this card is sent to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect. It cannot be activated if it is sent to the Graveyard by your own card effect.[1]
