- This card's effect can also return a monster that can be used as a Fusion Substitute Monsters like "King of the Swamp" etc. to the hand.[1]
- "If a Fusion Material used for a regular Fusion Summon is returned to the Graveyard by "Burial from a Different Dimension" etc. after being banished, that monster is not treated as a ""Fusion Material"". Therefore, a monster that has been returned to the Graveyard after being banished cannot be returned to the hand by the effect of "Fusion Recovery" or "Supply" as a ""Fusion Material Monster""."[2]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[3] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise. - You must have 2 Fusion Material Monsters in YOUR Graveyard otherwise this card's effect will disappear when flipped.
- If you have Fusion Summoned 2 Fusion Monsters during the course of the Duel, you may return 1 Fusion Material Monster from each of them with this card's effect. In other words, the returned Fusion Material Monsters do not need to be part of the same Fusion.
