  • If it's no longer a Psychic, it still will be destroyed? Diehard Guy 14:36, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

When it comes to not being a Psychic by use of a card effect such as DNA Surgery, its effect of being the only Psychic monster has no meaning since it really is no longer one. As for if you gained control for a turn and it was the only Psychic monster on your side of the field when you ended your turn, instead of giving it back to your opponent, you would have to destroy it. It is still destroyed if it is not a Psychic-Type monster. The effect is worded improperly - it should read "If you do not control a Psychic-Type monster other than this card". It checks every monster on the field other than itself, and if none of the other monsters are Psychics, then it is destroyed. "Destructotron" does not check itself (regardless of whether or not "Destructotron" is Psychic or not) and it still checks other monsters, so it is still destroyed if you don't control any other Psychic-Type monsters. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 05:46, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
