- This is often your best target for "Altergeist Multifaker". Its effect is very disruptive for your opponent, and you can return "Multifaker" back to your hand, letting you recycle its effect.
- "Altergeist Kunquery" pairs well with this card - "Silquitous" can be dealt with by attacking it, but "Kunquery" can negate attacks. "Silquitous" can also return "Kunquery" to your hand, letting you repeatedly use its protection effect.
- You can use "Altergeist Manifestation" to summon this from your GY and then use "Silquitous"' effect to return "Manifestation" to your hand, sending "Silquitous" back to the GY. This can be hard for your opponent to deal with if they don't have immediate access to GY interference, particularly under "Altergeist Protocol".
- If you activate "Altergeist Manifestation" and chain this card's effect to return "Manifestation" to your hand, the target will be summoned from the GY after "Manifestation" is already off the field, and the effect that destroys your monster when "Manifestation" leaves the field is never applied.
- If a Continuous Spell/Trap is removed from the field after effect activation but before resolution, the activated effect will resolve without effect. This is only useful if the card has Once per turn restrictions, but returning a card like "Floowandereeze and the Magnificent Map" or "Fateful Adventure" to hand can stop an opponent's attempts to set up.
