Because its effect activates at the start of the Damage Step (and not when the attack was declared), it will activate. This can be very useful if "Ancient Lamp" was Special Summoned during that battle phase by "Flying Kamakiri #1", "Call of the Haunted", "Limit Reverse" or "Magician's Circle".
- Use this card's effect to Special Summon "La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp". Then, activate "Natural Tune" and Synchro Summon into an instant "Arcanite Magician" (or another Level 7 monster).
- You can also Special Summon a Level 3 monster, Summon this card, activate its effect, activate "Natural Tune," and then perform a Level 10 Synchro Summon.
- If the monster you Summoned was a Tuner Monster, then you can perform a Double Tuning to Synchro Summon "Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend" with "Natural Tune."
- You can also Special Summon a Level 3 monster, Summon this card, activate its effect, activate "Natural Tune," and then perform a Level 10 Synchro Summon.
- If this face-down card is attacked by a monster redirected by the effect of "Dreamsprite", its effect can't be activated.
