- This card can also be Fusion Summoned with "Fusion Gate", "Invocation", "Fusion Substitute", "Performapal Trump Witch", "Flash Fusion", "Ultra Polymerization", "Instant Fusion", "Fusion Parasite", "Curse of Dragonfire", "Performapal Trump Girl", "Predaplant Chlamydosundew", and "The Book of the Law".
- "Mushroom Man #2" is an excellent way of preventing the opponent from using monster effects. Its End Phase effect can be used to give the opponent control of it, then during the opponent's Standby Phases, its effect will be forced to activate, thus rendering the opponent unable to use their other monster effects for the rest of the turn (including its End Phase effect).
- Since only 1 monster can attack per turn because of this card's effect, it can easily be defended with a card like "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" (with the exception of monsters that can attack multiple times in a single Battle Phase).
