- In general, this card is best used for returning its controller's Spell/Trap Cards to the hand for re-use, since the opponent can easily play any of their returned cards during their Main Phase 2. Re-usable cards can include things like "Contract with Don Thousand" and "Fiendish Chain".
- It can be possible to create a game-winning loop with this card, by somehow placing it on the opponent's field and repeatedly activating "Swords of Revealing Light" and "Swords of Concealing Light" to flip it face-up and face-down, with the mandatory Flip effect of "Tornado Bird" being forced to return those Spell Cards to the hand each time (assuming there are no other Spell/Trap Cards on the field for its effect to target).
- "Reverse Reuse" can be used to Special Summon this card and another Flip monster to the opponent's field, such as "Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive" or "Skelengel", with that Flip monster's mandatory effect forcing the opponent to repeatedly draw cards until a Deck out occurs.
- With "Tornado Bird" being given to the opponent via a card effect such as that of "Geonator Transverser", "Give and Take", or "Shien's Spy", the effect of "Rapid-Fire Magician" will inflict 400 damage to the opponent each time "Swords of Revealing Light" is activated, eventually reducing the opponent's LP to 0.
