Card Trivia:Vampire Fraulein
- This monster appears in the artworks of "Vampire Awakening" and "Blockout Curtain". Also, several "Vampire Familiars" appear in this card's artwork.
- Fräulein is the German language honorific previously in common use for unmarried women, comparable to Miss in English.
- Interestingly, this monster does not cast a shadow in this card's artwork (but her umbrella does), referencing the belief that vampires cannot cast a shadow.
- Given this monster's honorific, this card is likely based on Carmilla, a fictional lesbian vampire who appeared in the novel of the same name, preying on her female protagonist. Written by Sheridan Le Fanu in 1872, This novel predates Bram Stoker's Dracula by twenty-six years (1897). Interestingly, this card's combined ATK and DEF equal 2600.
