The effect of six samurai Zanji(and other) says that while you control another six samurai with a different name,my question is, does the other six samurai has to be face up? If it is face down, can I show it to my opponent to confirm that I really control one? Is the same rule applied to GB war chariot and other similar cards? --202.28.248.138 (talk) 14:15, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Well, if it said to control other Six Samurai, that mean you must have them face-up on the field in order to activate it effect to save himself from destruction. For Gladiator Beast War Chariot, try look at Icarus Attack, since it can tribute face-down Winged-Beast monster if Zombie World is activate on the field. --FredCat T.P. • F.R. • J.R. 14:20, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
If an effect states that you need a specific monster for your to activate it, then you must have the monsters face-up on the field. This goes for Gladiator Beast War Chariot and The Six Samurai - Zanji. However, for cards that require you to tribute a specific monster to activate it like Icarus Attack and Crush Card Virus, you can tribute a correct face-down monster. After the face-down monster was tributed, you show it to your opponent that it was a correct monster.-- HHTurtle Talk 15:05, August 17, 2010 (UTC)
