My friend once attacked my reptile and destroyed it with An ancient gear dragon, can I activate Alien brain considering its after the destruction of the monster?
Also, regarding cards that dont have the "flip" word at the beginning. if i have worm yagan out for example and its set. If my opponent attack and destroys it, does the effect activate? Does it activate if the monster survives?
Thanks In advance.—This unsigned comment was made by Uhxdude (talk • contribs) 05:45, April 29, 2012 (UTC)
- On Talk Pages and Forum Pages, it's a good practice to sign your posts. You can do that by adding four tildes (~~~~) to the end of your post and it will automatically create a signature for you when you click 'Publish'.
- The effect of Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon stops after "Substep 7: End of the Damage Step" ends (see Breakdown of the Battle Phase if you need more info on steps). So no Alien Brain cannot be activated.
- Pseudo-Flip Effects will activate when flipped by battle, with the same timing as FLIP effects. It does not matter if Worm Yagan was destroyed by that battle or not, its effect will still be activated

Falzar Fz You right about the end of damage step being substep 7 for TCG, however for ocg it is substep 8. If you don't believe me, go to "question about number 39 Utopia" and click the link name Attack Declaration.96.44.92.186 (talk) 20:28, April 30, 2012 (UTC)
Well it simply means that the opponent won't be able activate spell/traps until the end of substep 8, so alien brain can't be activated anyway.
