I have a few cards like this that are sort of glossy and bumpy to the touch, I really need to know if they are real or fake. They have all the correct fonts and text and are perfect in every way except the gold rim and the extra shine and texture. Can anyone help? If you require more pictures I can provide them but here is an Exodia head.

- The Attribute and Level design themselves look fine actually - remember that the card layout has changed a bit over the years. The one absolutely no-question-about-it telltale flaw - it's an Effect Monster with italic text. Only Normal Monsters have italic text. Right there, 100% fake. I have to agree with you there about the text font! Thanks. However I have other cards similar like this one that have the correct font? Like the Gaia The Dragon Champion I just posted. - Forget about the attribute, the stars, the text. The fact that they have that blatant rough overlay over them means they're fake. Why people would go for other things over that obvious fact is beyond me. Photonkrios99 (talk • contribs) 17:24, March 22, 2014 (UTC)
- I just want to point out, look carefully at them. The stars of the official Levels have their tips blurred out in the red, hey aren't that sharply definied. Many fake cards have that kind of Level stars. Also, the DARK attribute coloration is not that blurry. It should be a bit more definied. Finally, that Gaia Dragon doesn't have uppercases. --XBrain130™「
