Atomic Scrap Dragon

Now, we know what Scrap Dragon has done to the metagame, we know what Scrap Twin will do. Besides having an awesome name, can anyone tell me what is wrong here?

  • I don't know about you, but 3200 seems a little too high for something that easy to summon.
  • RETURN 3 CARDS TO THE DECK??? What has Konami been smoking THIS time? this will pretty much wreck most strategies that exist in the meta today (coughcough Lightsworn,Frognarch,Naturia,Scrap,Dandywarrior,Saber coughcough)
  • "...and sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 non-Synchro "Scrap" monsters from your Graveyard." Speaks for itself.

Any opinions on this? 76.250.226.248 (talk) 02:23, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

.............it's not even broken. Besides it's returning cards and will probably be great for anti meta I guess. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 03:16, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Scrap Dragon only changed the meta since ANYONE could use it. The other two require scrap cards. Whoop-de-doo.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 03:17, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah but in a Scrap deck, it can change a lot. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 03:20, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Why did klaxons begin sounding in my head when I saw the word "Atomic"? Maybe I've been making too many nuclear reactor puns or something. Either way, this thing doesn't look too game-changing. As the others have said, unlike Scrap Dragon which has no Synchro restrictions, ASD here needs a Scrap Tuner, which restricts its playability a bit. Next, it returns 3 cards from the Graveyard to the Deck. This would break future combos, which means it's good for furthering momentum, but it's not for making a turnabout. Third, the revival effect has been corrected to 1 non-Synchro Scrap monster, which is fair play for all the other Scrap Synchros. So, all in all, not powerful to the point of broken. Put those klaxons away. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 07:06, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, it's also got one more head, and affects one more card. Interesting trend going on. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 07:06, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
Have you noticed that for every head it gets 200 ATK and DEF? By Snetonobre (talkcontribs) 14:50, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I can only see people running one in the Scrap Extra Decks , MAX 2, just in case fighting a Graveyard-controlled deck (meta). I was seriously WTF on the card until Gadjiltron pointed out it returns three cards from YOUR OPPONENT'S GRAVEYARD to the deck, not three cards your opponent CONTROLS. Did everyone just Agree that a card is Good but not Broken?! Whoa!!!--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 13:11, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yes Helix. It's not broken. Jeez calm down. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:14, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I'm blown everyone Agreed! Yay ^.^ --Helix-king (talkcontribs) 13:16, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Dude it's because everyone is as smart in card games as you are. Well maybe not me but you know where I'm getting at. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:19, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I would say your not that bad, but I don't know... sorry! :D --Helix-king (talkcontribs) 13:22, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

And Thanks ^.^ --Helix-king (talkcontribs) 13:24, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

It is rare EVERYONE agrees. Usually this forum is full of debates, which isn't bad at all; I would say more like controversy, which keeps things fun on this forum, let alone anything. Honestly, everyone agreeing is pointless.|DED((Leaving Me Messages Are Often Left Here) 21:20, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Ya know, I mostly thought it was broken from the double revival effect. Now that that has changed, it's nothing to cry home about. 76.250.226.248 (talk) 01:08, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

Don't tell me you cried home? Well at least we know that everyone agrees that Atomic Scrap Dragon is not broken. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 01:10, October 27, 2010 (UTC)

it says special summon 1 from the graveyard

Sign your post, you can do that by adding 4 of ~ at the end of your post. And yes, we already knew that it is changed to one special summon. Jens (talkcontribs) 19:50, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

And now we know it's not broken. Yay! So therefore now we know that the card isn't broken anymore. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 02:26, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Atomic Scrap Dragon is pretty decent synchro "scrap" monster. It has control...somewhat, but it's not REALLY broken. Yes, sure it's an inconvenience, but nothing that can't be dealt with. It's revival abilities are pretty good, just nothing to worry about. If it had a destruction effect, well...that would be a different story. I don't particularly like the 2 tuner requirement for the synchro...though. Automation44 (talkcontribs) 03:45, November 9, 2010 (UTC)Automation44

Whoever said that Atomic Scrap Dragon used 2 Tuners? I'd advise you to take a closer look. If you actually meant the "1 Tuner + 2 non-Tuners" thing, it's a common feature of many LV10 Synchros.--Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 12:40, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Double Tuning would be awesome though. I wish to see more of that along with Cosmic Synchro. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 02:36, November 10, 2010 (UTC)
