Hello,I have a question: If I use bait doll and target a solemn judgement what happens? the solemn judgement is forced to activate or is only destroyed? Manuel186.105.156.120 (talk) 17:48, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

If your opponent chooses to activate Solemn Judgment in response to your Bait Doll, he pays the cost, Bait Doll gets negated and instead of returning to the Deck, it gets destroyed. If your opponent chooses not to activate it, he misses the timing because as a Counter Trap, Solemn Judgment needs to be chained directly to Bait Doll. If it's activated due to Bait Doll's effect, there is nothing for it to be chained to, since Bait Doll's effect is already resolved/resolving, so no cost is paid, Solemn is destroyed and Bait Doll returns to the Deck.--PoirotH (talkcontribs) 18:02, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

Hey - if I have Majestic Star Dragon on the field and use Bait Doll on an opponent's facedown card, does that count as my opponent activating a card effect, and can I use Majestic Star Dragon's effect? Or does my opponent have to choose to respond to my card? 99.229.200.6 (talk) 17:29, January 31, 2012 (UTC)

"Bait Doll" is the activate, so you can negate it and blow the field off with Majestic Star Dragon. It's not Condition. --FredCat 17:31, January 31, 2012 (UTC)
"You cannot chain to a Trap Card that was forced to activate by the effect of "Bait Doll" since an existing Chain is in the middle of resolving."
If the opponent chained to it manually, then you can.
