Will Ordeal be destroyed by Bait Doll because the timing is off? or will Ordeal be activated and stay on the field because it is a continuous trap?

Timing would be off

because Ordeal's effect states "You can activate this card's effect when your opponent declares an attack." which mean's the correct timing would be in response to when your opponent declares an attack.~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 03:37, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

It will not be destroyed. "Ordeal of a Traveler" can be activated (flipped face-up) at any time, even though its effect cannot.

"Bait Doll" is trying to activate it, not activate its effect, so "Ordeal of a Traveler" would not be destroyed. It will be activated normally.
