Can Solemn Warning negate the effect of battle fader? I am confused about battle faders effect. If Battle Fader isnt properly special summoned, like if it gets bottomlessed (can this even happen in the battle phase?) will its effect work?Trak0don (talkcontribs) 01:57, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

Bottomless Trap Hole cannot activate during Damage Resolve. But Solemn Warning can murder the effect that activate the summon condition that Judgment cannot do that. So in your question, Solemn Warning can stop the Battle Fader ever before it get on the field. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 02:00, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
Solemn Warning in this case, would Negate the Effect that summons. It can negate Battle Fader.
Solemn Judgment Negates the Summon itself (not the Effect), it cannot be used if the monster is summoned during resolution of an effect, as it would miss the timing.
Bottomless Trap Hole can't be used during the Damage Step. This is why it can't be used against Gorz and Tragoedia
Although, unlike Gorz and Trag, Battle Fader is summoned during Attack Declaration, after resolution of it's effect, the last thing to occur is the ending of the Battle Phase and not the summon of Battle Fader, so cards like Torrential Tribute cannot be used on it. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:09, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
