If Beast King Barbaros is normal summoned without a tribute while skill drain is in play does it have 3000 ATK points? Do you have to tribute to normal summon it while skill drain is in play?99.29.79.151 (talk) 05:03, May 7, 2011 (UTC) -->
- Reading the card helps. "The effects of all face-up Effect Monsters are negated."
- While Barbaros is in the Hand, it is not 'face-up' on the field, so it isn't negated then. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 05:13, May 7, 2011 (UTC)

- Actually, "Normal Summon without Tribute" is Summon Condition, Summon Condition cannot be negated.--Lê (talk • contribs) 05:34, May 7, 2011 (UTC)
