Can I use beckoning light when there necrovalley is active?
My opponent has 3 light cards in the grave and two Honests in his/her hand, and actives beckoning light. What will happen if I use transmigration prophecy to return two of the three light cards in his/her graveyard?24.193.88.193 15:28, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
- You can activate "Beckoning Light", since "Necrovalley" doesn't prevent activations. In the TCG, the effect won't be negated. In the OCG, the effect will be negated.
- I'm guessing that he only has two cards in his hand? In that case, "Beckoning Light" will resolve without effect, since there aren't enough LIGHT cards in the Graveyard. See Card Rulings:Beckoning Light:
- If your opponent chains "Disappear" to "Beckoning Light", and there are no longer enough LIGHT monsters to retrieve as there were cards in your hand, the effect of "Beckoning Light" disappears and you don't discard your hand or add cards to your hand.
