First off, let me say that I know I have too many cards. I am just unsure of which ones I should get rid of to thin out the deck. If anything, I was looking to narrow down the deck to about 45, but narrowing it down at all would help. I also know the Burial from a Different Dimension is better then Miracle Dig, but I don't have that card right now, Miracle dig is taking the place of Burial from a Different Dimension for now.

Secondly, I know that Fires of Doomsday may seem out of place, but it needs to stay. It is there to help summon Blackwing - Abrolhos the Megaquake, as well as provide syncrho material. It often provides the extra material needed to go from a 6 starred synchro with Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North to an 8 starred synchro.

Another card which needs to stay is D.D. Crow. It fits perfectly in the deck, being both a dark monster and a winged beast. Half the time my loss is from the fact that someone did something from the graveyard, and I didn't have the power to stop it. This card is the exact card I need to stop the combo from the grave. It also helps as card fodder for DAD and the Dark Creator.

Finally, I need a way to get rid of the effects of Vayu after he synchro summons from beyond on the grave. My two top choices were Book of Moon and Interdimensional Matter Transporter. Both work the same, but each also have a greater use. Usually, Interdimensional Matter Transporter can protect one of my monsters from cards such as mirror force. Book of Moon can be used both offensively and defensively, targeting the opponents card as well. I couldn't decide which to get rid of.

Also, I couldn't really decide if I should get rid of Blackwing - Boobytrap or Blackwing - Etesian of Two Swords, or both. Blackwing - Boobytrap really helps psych-out my opponent, causing him/her to waste a magic or trap card. On the other hand, Etesian is easier to activate, and can be searched out with Black Whirlwind. I really wanted to keep one of the two, but I don't know which to ditch and which to keep. Please help me.

WOW thats an all over the place sorta deck. It don't seam to look to consistant. Take aa look at mine and see if it helps.

Thanks for the advice taylor, but I was going for more of the remove from play tactic of blackwings. Sadly, I don't have a copy of Dark Eruption, Mind Control, or My Body as a Shield, so those would be out of my deck. And I guess I will ask for clarification now because I never understood this, but why is Royal Oppression run in a blackwing deck? If the deck is to swarm the field as quick as possible, the opponent could do use Royal Oppression against you and stop you from synchro summoning or swarming. It always seems to me as a counter productive card, but if someone could explain to me how it should be used, that would be great. I'll edit my deck appropriately so that it won't look so scattered. I run a fairly successful blackwing deck so i might be able to help. Take out: Etesian, fane, ghibli,elphin,abrolhos aurora and The dark creator. This leaves u with 20 monsters. Take out Solidarity (wont work with your synchros) and veil of darkness (not really needed). I think you need to remove the fires of doomsday when you get some more level 6 synchros like goyo or brionac. also Obviosly swap miracle dig for burial from the D.D. Swap dark illusion for dark bribe. I dont think you need the IMT because theres no real need to give the monsters effects back at the cost of a card. Swap boobytrap for bottomless trap hole and tadaaa! You have a decent blackwing deck.--Melsarceus493 (talk • contribs) 22:16, December 21, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the help Melsarceus. I took out all the cards, with the exception of Elphin, because if I take him out, it feels as if Vayu's ability would be wasted on only Blackwing Armed Wing, considering that the only card it could sychro at that point (considering Armed wing isn't in the graveyard) is Sirocco. Also, can't the dark creator revive synchro cards? I've always used this tactic to get out old blackwing synchros from the graveyard after they are dead.

yeh ok if your using elphin for vayus thats fine. I think that with the dark creator and Dark Armed Dragon theres only really room for one of them. I prefer D.A.D but its up to you. I tend to use the Royal Oppression after I do all my Synching & Sworming or as a counter to outher Blackwings Fabled and Infinity decks.
