Just wondering if Blue-Eyed Maiden's effect is a quick effect. Making it spell speed 2.
Example of use:
Opponent activates Dark Hole, I chain Forbidden Dress, I chain Maiden's effect and summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon

- Aren't both effects Trigger Effects? Quick Effects are printed with 'During either player's turn' or a phrase close to that. In that case, the above scenario would not work. DexxIsBack (talk • contribs) 18:54, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
If an effect that targets Maiden is Negated:
Turn 1: I Normal Summon her and set Book of Moon, end turn.
Turn 2: Opponent uses Mystical Space Typhoon and targets my facedown Book.
My Response - I chain Book and target Maiden.
(Normally Maiden's "target by card effect" effect would activate and allow me to Special Summon Blue-Eeyes White Dragon.)
Opponent's Response - chains a Counter Trap that negates my Book.
Maiden was targeted by Book, but Book was negated, does HER eff still go off?
