Forum:Burn Deck: Just For Fun

Basically you just use reckless greed/Accumulated Fortune to plus your way into enough cards to burn them to death/stall until you can burn them to death.

Obviously the deck dies to decrees, but it seems that Meta decks don't Main deck them anymore; Just in case they keep them sided or just happen to run some, here's the side deck:

Also other Anti-meta cards that I haven't bothered to look for/put in (suggestions?:D)

I have no idea what I would take out for the decree destruction squad (suggestions?:D), but it seems like a good idea. Also Maxx "C" is just free cards if the opponent runs deck with lots of SS (90% of decks) so that's always good.

Anyway, I feel like the main deck is at about peak efficiency, but I'd love to get some second opinions as well as side decking suggestions.

be careful with Cyber Valley ... I have had mine stolen via:
Mind Control! and as I recall...only his first effect can be activated
on your opponents turn. otherwise...it looks fun to use!

Yeah, I've had stuff like that happen too... I guess it's should be the first thing to go for when siding then? 'cause I feel like the draw power/attack negation is too good to pass up in the main deck. Jcfblack (talkcontribs) 17:22, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

You want Morphing Jar if you want hand control. Des Koala is a nice wall with a burn effect. Consider those, because without monsters, the deck can't work. Adamtheamazing64 (talkcontribs) 16:32, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

I'll think about morphing jar, with all the backrow/hand depletion this deck has it should be good (although jar would make me lose scarecrows...) but you couldn't be more wrong about needing monsters. They would clog the deck and are harder to effectively/consistently chain, which is half of what this deck is about (+1s from Accumulated Fortune and massive damage from Chain Strike). I have never lost because I didn't have enough monsters; I've lost because of Royal Decree, massive hand loss against Wind-Ups and good negation choices by Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En; I've also lost against FTK decks, but that happens.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, though:D Jcfblack (talkcontribs) 17:22, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

maybe Mystic Piper?

Hmm.. Interesting idea, but it seems like I won't hit a monster all that often, and it's harder to chain to than most of the other draw cards... Jcfblack (talkcontribs) 01:29, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

Small Change

So I swapped the potentially thieved Cyber Valleys for Maxx "C"s and I'm loving it. The draw power against today's metagame is insane, (or they just don't summon much so you don't take much damage) and between One Day of Peace and Swift Scarecrow I'm not losing to their unstopped swarms. Plus Maxx "C" counters wind-ups nicely.

Unfortunately I can only afford them on dueling network xD $50 is a bit to steep for me. Any other suggestions? Jcfblack (talkcontribs) 20:15, February 15, 2012 (UTC)
