From what it looks like, it seems like as long it's in my hand, I can still Special Summon. But what confuses me is not the fact that it prevents special summons when it's on the field, but if I can't summon Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo after I special summon on the same turn.
I look at Pot of Duality rulings since the concept appears to be the same in that you can't use Pot of Duality if you special summon, and that the rulings on Pachy don't verify on my question. So... the question is, Am I able to summon Pachy even after I Special Summon? NickTheForbiddenOne (talk • contribs) 14:23, March 3, 2014 (UTC)
- You can Special Summon before Summoning Pachy, just like you can activate Traps before Summoning Jinzo. It has a Continuous Monster Effect, unlike Pot of Duality, where it is a Condition Effect that prevents you from Special Summoning after using it. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 14:39, March 3, 2014 (UTC)
