Does Crush Card Virus effect of destroying monster affects including the hand or in the field only?....please help....

---

the answer is both & it is only once during the time of its effect resolves

  • Crush card destroys all 1500 monsters of the opponent on his/her hand or field then you may see all of your opponents draw until the end of his 3rd turn after crush card's activation

making a correction

to make a slight correction to the above responder, it is 1500 and more attack that are auto-destroyed~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 17:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Question

If I activate Allure of Darkness while under the effect of Crush Card Virus and I drew two Dark monsters with ATK of 1500. Can I remove one of them for the effect of Allure of Darkness then discard one for Crush Card Virus? Metagame.com 23:27, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Crush Card Virus will destroy any monsters with 1500+ ATK that are drawn by Allure. It says to check and destroy, while Allure says to drawn then remove. Crush Card activates when the cards are drawn, before you can remove for Allure. Messengerofthedark 12:53, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Messengerofthedark
Sub is correct. Similar to the ruling on "Graceful Charity" vs "Deck Devastation Virus", you must fully resolve the effect of "Allure of Darkness" before you can apply the effect of "Crush Card Virus". This is because the effect of a card cannot interrupt the resolution of another effect.
Also, just a minor correction: "activate" means to start a Chain. When you draw a card, the effect of "Crush Card Virus" does not start a Chain, so the effect does not "activate". The effect is applied.
