Forum:Cunning of the Six Samurai - Trap Hole

Hypothetical situation that I'm curious about before it comes up in a game. Say I'm playing a Six Sam deck, and I summon Irou. My opponent activates trap hole to destroy it, I then chain from my hand Cunning of the Six Samurai, to tribute Irou and special summon a different one from my graveyard, would trap hole now have lost it's target?

Doesn't necessarily have to be trap hole... if it was targeted by anything, Compulsory Evacuation Device, or even during my BP against something such as Sakuretsu armor, could I chain Cunning of the Six Samurai to change out my monster and have the new one unaffected by the trap?

Trap Hole would lose its target, as would Compulsory Evacuation Device. Sakuretsu Armor also loses its target. I think that Bottomless Trap Hole would still kill the special summoned monster (if it has 1500 or more attack points), but I'm not sure. Also remember that trap hole only works for normal summons whereas Bottomless works for normal and special summons. Animedude3000 13:54, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

  • "Bottomless Trap Hole" wouldn't destroy the newly-Summoned "Six Samurai" monster. It only affects the monster(s) against which it was originally activated. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 22:32, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
