Strategies

Of course I mainly try to play the Dark Gaia OTK by using Raviel and Hieracosphinx but I made some more strategies:

  • Summoning a monster and then activating Torrential Tribute when you have powerful Fusion Material Monsters on the field so you destroy all monsters on the field. Then play Dark Calling to summon Evil Hero Dark Gaia and attack your opponent directy.
  • Play Ojama Trio so your opponent get's three Ojama tokens with 0 ATK then attack with Evil Hero Dark Gaia so your opponent loses lifepoints equal to Evil Hero Dark Gaia ATK points and 300 by the effect of the Ojama Tokens.
  • Play Hieracosphinx with Guardian Sphinx. Then you can send all your opponents monsters to his hand while Guardian Sphinx can't be attacked.
  • You can use Rock Bombardment to send Rock monsters to the graveyard to use as Fusion Material Monsters by using Dark Calling.
  • Summon Grinder Golem in Attack mode on your opponent's side of the field when he doesn't control any monsters. Then activate Creature Swap so you can get your Grinder Golem back and attack his Grinder token you traded for it. He'll then lose 3000 life points.

Try this guy

Great Maju Garzett is a fiend with potentiality ridiculous ATK power. A good fusion material for dark Gaia.--Helix-king 16:08, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

No. It has an original ATK of 0, and that's what counts. Runer5h 19:42, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Dark Gaia doesn't say Original atk :D Just summon him so you have a big boy on the field then fuse.

Trust me. Runer5h 20:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Runer5h
  • Runner5h is correct, it states in Dark Gaia's effect: "The original ATK of this card is equal to the combined ATK of the Fusion Material Monsters used to Fusion Summon it" which translates into "The original ATK of Dark Gaia is equal to the combined ATK of the cards used to Fusion Summon it." Therefore if you have Great Maju at a High Attack and then fuse it with Armor Exe you Dark Gaia will be Fusion Summoned with a EXTREMELY Large Attack~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 20:22, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
RUNER: one R. And it would only have 2400 ATK. Check the rulings. Runer5h 20:25, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

One R? Do you mean one N? Oh and MEOW, I said that--Helix-king 21:04, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

  • sorry about the 2nd "N" Runer, and i was clarifying what you stated Helix. which rulings are you referring to Runer?~MEOW~ Might of the BIRD Empire~~ 21:09, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Wait, I read the ruling. Do TCG players have to abide by OCG rulings, if not, It still works in the TCG unless Konami says otherwise--Helix-king 21:10, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Why, yes they do. Why? Because Konami Said So. Runer5h 21:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

OMG

I, I, I can't believe there's an article for that, isn't that like, unprofessional or something? --Helix-king 21:18, 17 July 2009 (UTC) so it better off puting in power fiends in90.196.23.59 09:43, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
