I'd like some help construction a Dark Magician deck using the cards released in The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack. For personal reasons, I'd like to run at least one of each of the Magician Girls. Other than that, I'd like help balancing this (since, as you can probably tell, it's not in a formidable state now). If I'm using Magician Girls, should I bother with The Dark Illusion Monsters, or would it be better for me to scrap those completely in favor of more consistent Magician Girls? For keeping monsters on the field, which Spells/Traps should I focus on? I'm guessing I won't have trouble getting Monsters on the Field, so I'm wondering whether some of the new Spells are worth it. Especially since they're generic support, not specific to Dark Magician, so they can't be picked up by Dark Magic Circle. Magician's Protection seems pretty useful, especially if I'm able to keep monsters on the field. Even if they're destroyed, I wouldn't be going down for awhile.
Even if you can search "Dedication", it could be a dead draw, however "DMOC" can be searched/summoned with cards you already use, so it's worthy (if you summon it during your opponent's turn with "Ebon Void Magician", you can recycle a Spell and use during your next turn). I'm not sure if you need 3 "DM Girls", maybe trade 2 for more copies of "Rod" and "Robe"? --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 05:39, April 23, 2016 (UTC)
