Forum:Dark World Fabled deck help?

Okay, so I've loved the Dark World Archetype since is came out back in...Elemental Energy I wanna say... but either way it really ticked me off that they couldn't run with costs in card effects, so when I heard about the Fabled and the sub-archetype The Fabled I nearly passed out in sheer happiness.

As this deck has immense amounts of draw power, it comes at the cost of throwing LOTS of monsters in the graveyard. This is why there are 3 Pot of Avarice. Any less and I would be screwed. It can manage to OTK and make incredible comebacks if the opponent doesn't know what the deck is capable of. Although, when this deck is thrown against any form of removal...it tends to just kick it between the legs.... Anyone out there got suggestions on how to improve this...please? User:Goblinpunch787

Yeah, you seem ot be doing pretty cool things here. I've used Fabled Dark World and it can be very cool. One idea for you is Fabled Dianaira - it can deal with some forms of removal and combo them with Dark Worlds. Destroying two of your opponent's cards thanks to Goldd? Drawing 2 cards instead of just one for Broww? How about getting two cards right out of your opponent's hand with Sillva? Yes please! Not to mention its high ATK at possibly only 1 tribute. I'd replace some of the cards with a discard cost with that, because only Krus can really take advantage of a discard cost. Also, what's your extra deck? Well, I conveniently have none of the synchros...but I want to have 2 Fabled Valkyrus and 2 Fabled Leviathan. but they're so expensive on ebay i'm just gonna wait for them to come out in the TCG...for now they will be proxy's. Goblinpunch787

No sychros? That's the whole point for the "Fabled"! Well, if you only want some swarm then its ok. "Necrovalley" here should be fine. Removal is the coup de grace for this deck so "Imperial Iron Wall" in the side deck can solve that. You need some drawing power because you will ran of hand advantage in this deck. Pardon me, I meant to say that I have none of the Synchro's for the Archtype itself...I have a more than complete Extra deck othewise. Somehow I hadn't thought of adding in Reckless Greed...I'll start play testing that now. Thanks alot Silenthero26! User:Goblinpunch787

u shouldnt run lighting vortex or any of the traps you have because they will not activate since they are cost best way to build fables to be is going monster heavy with 3 decree

This is a deck that is very customizable to user tastes, and it bothers me that it is so in depth some times. A lot of people run Gorz, Dark Armed Dragon, Chaos Sorcerer, Honest, Morphing Jar,Stygian Street Patrol and even Plaguespreader Zombie, and I love all those cards, but it is difficult to fit them all in. I think the best way to do it is 3 Krus, 3 Kushano, 3 Grimro, 3 Ravens, 3 Goldd, and 3 Sillva, the Fableds have huge combos, Dark World Swarms and Synchros, your other cards back you up. I only run 2 Pot of Avarice, so I can better fit Dark Hole, Reborn etc, and for traps I just run 3 Royal Decree, to shut down the back row (mostly).

You should side deck Imperial Iron Wall and Necroface to deal with removes, and I recommend dropping any Dark World that's not Dealings, Goldd, or Sillva. Also in traditional format, Exchange of Spirit is your baby. DattebayoNephets 23:57, Dec 20, 2010.
