Forum:Dueling Attitude

Hi, this topic has no real meaning to it, just bored. I wonder what kind of attitudes wiki users have when playing yugioh? I'll use anime characters as examples, but you don't have to.

  • Jack Atlas/Kaiba - doesn't care what the opponent does, just gets through with power and tramples over the opponents strategy. Looks down on opponents.
  • Bakura/Marik/Yubel - torments the opponent rather than winning as quickly as possible.
  • Yusei - calm and collected.
  • Jaden/Leo - plays for fun.
  • Pegasus - over-dramatic.
  • Joey - depends on luck to pull through.

I can't think of any other personalities really. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 10:58, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • Atem - belive in the heart of card to pull what ever card he want.

if i have that kind of ability, i will dominated the world , really Nagareboshi-kun (talkcontribs) 11:12, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

That's the same as depending on luck. And you didn't say what kind you are. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 11:21, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

sorry i forgot , maybe i am pegasus , i scream a lot when my friend take out their best card Nagareboshi-kun (talkcontribs) 11:29, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Well I'm probably Yusei and Jaden then because I don't overeact in a card game and it's just fun. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:06, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

I must say, it depends on the duel, if I really want to win, I am completely Yusei, nothing will ruffle my feathers (I do not play Blackwings). If not that then I will usually play for fun (Jaden/Leo), I'll just have fun with it, and if I feel evil that day, I'll just toy with my opponent's, all in good fun...BassNettoHikari2...Chat Page... 14:28, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

I just LOVE torturing the opponent..mmmm~ IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 17:01, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Definetely Yusei Jens (talkcontribs) 18:24, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

You should add Marik because he really does like to see people suffer. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 22:44, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

I'm a mix of a lot of these. I play for one thing: to have fun. I really don't care if I win or lose. I'm usually calm, but I love animé-esque drama, so I'll get excited when I raise my voice and (literally) throw down one of my best/favorite/game-changing cards. Also, if I know that they can't possibly reverse the situation (close friends whose decks I know as well as my own, I know when they can and can't turn things around), I'll draw it out for the fun of things, i.e. summon 5 monsters, let them nearly deck out, or allow my Life Points to climb to ridiculously high levels (40,000+ with the right deck). @ Fallen, Marik was in the list to start with. And see, I knew that there would be others like me, like lappyzard. I bet some of you criticizing folks actually sympathize with me but do not want to admit it. Not saying anyone in particular. IPlay4Fun (talkcontribs) 02:54, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

  • Well I sympathize with you for being arrogant. Why dude, why? Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 03:11, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

Im probs a cross between Pegasus and Jadem. I like to have fun when i duel, but i do adopt an anime-esque voice when i pull off some of my fave cards and combos. its fun that way. Alboono (talkcontribs) 03:07, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

A cross between Jaden and Yusei. I play for fun, but have no trouble keeping cool and fighting as hard as I can to win. Battlemaniac (talkcontribs) 08:40, October 26, 2010 (UTC)

I'd say... Yusei/Marik, as I'm calm & in control, but I use that control to torment, (such as summoning L&D dragon for the 4th time in 1 duel)-Resk (talkcontribs) 09:17, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
