A card that cancel any monster effect, does that exist or not??? When yes, please a name El*demonio 17:32, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

The only downside of Angel O7 being that it does not negate continuous effect of monsters, because they don't activate. 188.4.214.53 22:42, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

So, when I have Angel O7 OR Skill Drain on the field, is than exodias effext uselles (win the duel effect)El*demonio 08:25, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

The text of "Exodia the Forbidden One" which lets you win the Duel is not treated as an effect. It is a condition.
The effect of "Angel O7" only prevents effects from activating - that is, from starting Chain Links. The condition of "Exodia the Forbidden One" does not start a Chain Link, so it doesn't activate, so "Angel O7" cannot stop it.
"Skill Drain" only negates the effects of monsters which are face-up on the field. "Exodia the Forbidden One" is in the hand when you apply its condition, so "Skill Drain" can't negate it.
To date, there is nothing that stops your opponent from declaring victory with "Exodia the Forbidden One". You have to stop your opponent from completing "Exodia" in the first place.

When I have spirit reaper and angel O7, spirit repaert condition is to not be estroyed by battle, right? and his effect when its target its destroyed, does angel O7 nagate that so spirit reper can only be destroyed by card effect which destroy a card???El*demonio 10:40, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

Curious though

Is having a full exodia in the hand the equivilant of having Check/CheckMate in chess in regards to the fact that if you don't declare it when it originally occurs you break some rule?

I mean if you have exodia completed in your hand could you chose for whatever reason to keep playing without telling your oppenent?68.40.90.212 19:08, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

you could keep playing but you have already won. Its like your opponent running out of life points but you dont tell them you win but they don't know that.

and by the way you don't have to declare check in chess, its considered polite but you break no rule if you keep your mouth shut.

The Answer to all of the "Curious thought" questions is no.

Once you have won the duel, you have won instantly and there is no reason to go on. If you are playing for fun it you may ask your opponent if he or she wishes to continue. What is the point in making an Exodia deck if your not going to win with it? none.

My school musta been weird then

Cause both tourneys held there had a rule that if Check or Checkmater happened you had to declare otherwise you would forfeight the match68.40.90.212 22:12, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

The effect of "Spirit Reaper" which prevents it from being destroyed by battle is a Continuous Effect. It does not activate, so "Angel O7" will not negate it. The same applies to the effect which destroys "Spirit Reaper" if "Spirit Reaper" is targeted.
You have to declare victory with "Exodia" as soon as you complete it. You cannot choose to continue duelling. If you (unintentionally) don't and then later realise that you have all five cards in your hand, then: you receive a minor warning for playing improperly, the game is "rewound" to when you completed "Exodia", and you win the Duel. If you did it intentionally, then it's up to the judge. (It would probably be a minor warning if you didn't know better or if it's the first time; or a major warning/game loss otherwise.)
