FRDB: Because I couldn't be bothered to type out Fiend Roar Deity Beast. But, despite the disrespect I show the name, it's actually an amazingly powerful archetype. Let me show you what I mean.

The reason I think that Fiend Roar Deity Beasts are amazing is that they have amazing support, being both beasts and LIGHT. Allow me to demonstrate.

To start, there's 2 of every FRDB but Rubilarda; yes, it's a level 4 tuner but I felt its effect was too slow for the deck. The ones represented can pull off all sorts of swarming and destroying tricks. Then come some regular FRDs; Luri, which can special summon, Grimlo the searcher, and Raven for amazing power - I can discard any cards I want to increase its ATK and level. Now for non-FRDs; first is Green Baboon, which is an easy special summon. Rescue Cat is very powerful in this deck, allowing for even easier synchro summons than I would normally pull off. Airbellum is included to compliment it. Rai-Mei searches out any of the Fiend Roar Deity Beasts except Ganashia, and can also search Luri and Raven. Sangan can basically search half the deck. Behemoth is included because this deck has no problem special summoning to allow tribute summons with it, and I can recycle beasts like Nozuchi and Chawa to instantly pull off another summon. Snipe Hunter is a generally good card, and it's even better in this deck. Finally, Sea Koala compliments Rescue Cat but is playable even if I draw it.

The spell and trap selection is fairly small. Dark World Dealings functions as draw power and allows me to activate the effects of many of the monsters in the deck. Pot of Avarice is a great recycling card for the deck. Card Destruction is fairly obvious; likewise with Heavy Storm and Mystical Space Typhoon. As for My Body as a Shield, it functions as negation that can be used very offensively. Now, for traps, Forced Requisition is first; with it I can empty my opponent's hand in a flurry of discards. Beckoning Light is also great, allowing me to get my hand full of LIGHT monsters and activate the effects of those I discarded. Finally, Call of the Haunted is simple revival.

The extra deck is only special because of the inclusion of Fiend Roar Deity synchros. They all have fairly powerful effects; Unicor can negate ANYTHING, Valkiris and Legion function as draw power, and Levuathan is a great beatstick and recycler. Also, I have Ancient Sacred Wyvern.

Tell me what you think of this concept deck. Runer5h 22:05, October 4, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

OK, I've made some changes. Runer5h 01:46, October 5, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Come on, any ideas? I've just done a duel where I got Ganashia (boosted), Legion, and Behemoth (2700 ATK) on the field in the first turn, had 2 set S/Ts, and had 1 card in hand; in short, I swarmed the field without losing card advantage. Can anyone help, please? Runer5h 03:05, October 5, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

I never even heard of this archetype

But the deck sounds good, I am not half as good with deck suggestions as some of the other people on this site, but it sounds like you are pretty good with that stuff. I have read your other posts on people's decks and it sounds like you know what you are doing. In fact, I would like to ask your opinion on my decks. Every deck I have ever made since getting back into the game is on my user page in 3 sections. There are a few that I made for my nieces and my brother this past summer that aren't there. But what do you think of my decks any suggestions and ideas would be great.

Those'll take some looking into. Anyways, I decided to remove Snipe Hunter, a Kashi, and a Dark World Dealings. Runer5h 02:13, October 6, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Honest-ly

Where's Honest?. "The reason I think that Fiend Roar Deity Beasts are amazing is that they have amazing support, being both beasts and LIGHT." And you couldn't fit in Honest? Or Shining Angel" DemonGodAsura 02:43, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Don't think I didn't think of Honest. However, I've had some trouble figuring out if I can afford to put it in... ah well, I can afford to main-deck a single copy. But Shining Angel is a no-no. The only think I'd want it to search out would be Raven to potentially set up combos, and I've found that my Raven access is good enough as is. Runer5h 20:31, October 6, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

yea the FRD is definitely a great archetype. i dont exactly have any advice, since the deck i made of them is totally different, which is to lock your opponent down with Fiend Roar Deity Beast Unicor. it runs on Forced Requisition and constant discarding. running raven at 2 wouldnt be as consistent as running 3 of it.. also dont use behemoth, isnt really strong in this deck. you definitely need Manticore of Darkness. change it for that. run honest at 2, and if you dont mind, Fiend Roar Deity Galbas would actually be better than Grimlo.YogixD 07:05, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

Trust me, this deck is great with Behemoth. And Galbas shouldn't be put in for Grimlo, which is a great searcher and finds my key cards. Runer5h 00:58, February 22, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

I'd personaly recomend ...they changed the names.... Fabled Krus(eww... Cruz was better..) anyway, instead of Luri, as then you can grab any from grave, instead of just him as a 1 star tuner~-193.62.251.50 08:18, February 22, 2010 (UTC)(Resk)
