Forum:Fixing a Fairy Deck

I need help fixing this fairy deck that I'm currently running. I would like to get input about it as I have only been able to win 1 duel out of 13 duels. The first list is my "core" deck, eg I use the same cards in 4 other decks as well, but at this time, I'm only interested in fixing this fairy deck. I am also running the latest Limited/Forbidden Lists. Also, if you make any suggestions for the core deck, eg removing one of the cards, please keep in mind that I may ask why as I do use the same cards for the other decks that I have, as I currently do not have enough card sleeves that are the same PLUS enough cards to make "complete" decks.

I was also told during the tournament that I attended today, 12/30/2010, that Arsenal Summoner can NOT be used to get Guardian Angel Joan out from my deck. Suishoko Taka (talkcontribs) 03:37, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

The main problem with your deck, is that it seems to be all over the place, to begin with your 'core' deck, Stone Statue of the Aztecs, Mirror of Oaths, Remote Revenge, Card Destruction, Magical Mallet, Nightmare Steelcage, Swords of Revealing Light & Draining Shield are NOT splashable cards, so may be an idea to replace them with better cards.

Then, moving onto the actual fairy deck, What is the goal of it .-.? as then some assistance can be granted.

Oh, and as for the Guardian Angel Joan, It's probably something to do with the JP names, though I can't see it on the pages, the searching for Arsenal Summoner doesn't bring up Joan as an option, so it seems correct.-Resk (talkcontribs) 03:47, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I kind of want the goal of the deck to be a combination of Healing/Defense with it centered around Guardian Angel Joan AND Shinato. Also, according to http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Guardian_Angel_Joan , it states in the Japanese translated as Guardian Angel Jeanne. I did the research and thought that Arsenal Summoner could be used for G. A. J. as it does list the word Guardian in its Japanese name. What sort of "splashable" cards would you recommend to replace the 8 cards you listed above?Suishoko Taka (talkcontribs) 04:05, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Well, for ideas, here's a list of -my- staples, (for most decks)

Though as I said in your dragon post, it may be an idea, (depending on your other 3 decks, OFC), to switch your traps to 3x Royal Decree.

For the fairys itself, It may be an idea to focus all effort onto Shinato, King of a Higher Plane, to increase consistancy, would you like me to mock up an 'idea' version?-Resk (talkcontribs) 04:09, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Yes to the mock up of an 'idea' version, running Shinato, even though at this time, I'm currently limited to 1 of him. I will be posting the other 3 decks here shortly.Suishoko Taka (talkcontribs) 04:12, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Oops, 'ideal*' silly typos, anyway, here we go~!

Maybe? it's not perfect, but it's a start,-Resk (talkcontribs) 04:26, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Hi, just a little suggestion, will work and help you win alot more ;) :

Shinato's effect only ables it to be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell card Shinato's Ark in case you've forgotten... :S So Recycle will help you with that problem if it's the number of Shinato's Ark that makes you put an advanced Ritual Art card in your deck. i know this card has become insanely hard to find -- if you live in england -- but the sanctuary in the sky is very useful for an all fairy monster deck. monster reincarnation allows you to go get marshmallon and re-use it's effect once it ends up in the graveyard. Trade-In... If you want draw power i suggest you get Tethys, Godess of Light It saves you from discarding Shinato. After all, you can only bring back a Ritual monster from the dead -- special summon -- if it has already been ritual summoned with it's ritual card. Mage power... read the card! :D
