Forum:Force of Four effect

So I've been looking at the anime card Force of Four and trying to figure out its effect. Based on the events of the duel it was used in (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 144 - Activate! Ultimate Unsealing Ritual Art), as well as another card that was used, I think this card has a missing effect.

The effect doesn't just prevent players from adding cards to their hand if it would bring them up to 4; it redirects these extra cards to the Graveyard, like how Macro Cosmos redirects Graveyard-bound cards to the banished pile. My evidence is simple.

1) The Ultimate Ritual of the Forbidden Lord says it can be activated from the Graveyard if you have the 5 pieces of Exodia either in your hand or your Graveyard.

2) At the start of the turn in which it was activated this way, Adrian had drawn a card and discarded it due to Force of Four. This means he had 4 cards in his hand already.

3) The card he discarded was Exodia the Forbidden One. We know that this was the only "Forbidden One" card in his Graveyard from earlier turns in the duel, so we can assume the other 4 cards in his hand were the other 4 pieces of Exodia.

All this means that Adrian's 5th card wasn't added to his hand, but was redirected to the Graveyard instead.

How would an effect like this be worded? I think it would be like this.

"After this card resolves, if a player would add a card(s) to their hand that would bring their hand up to 5 or more cards, they must send a number of those cards to the Graveyard so that their hand size does not exceed 4 cards, instead."

If there's a simpler way to put this, I'd love to hear it. --Wolfgang DelaSangre (talkcontribs) 20:08, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

"but was redirected to the Graveyard instead." was already writing in that Episode you linked. And yes, he was forcing to discard it to the Graveyard anyways. Suggest you to read the last part of Aster's long turn, it is there. --iFredCat 20:51, May 20, 2013 (UTC)
Just leave it be. I dunno if you're asking for DevPro's benefit or not, but the Org looked at it and deduced there is no "missing" extra effect; the rest of the text is just a longer version of the effect already listed on the page (the "effect text" you saw when you posted this topic). Just chalk it up to "LOL anime game rules" and let it be. I'll be working on getting a transcription of the Japanese anime text for proof. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 07:47, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
Further corrections were made. Because the last half of the second sentence was missing, your explanation of the cards being "redirected" can fit in there instead. And yes, I know the given effect now contradicts what happened in the episode. However, that is not a first in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel writings =/ --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 08:12, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
I wasn't asking for the sake of DevPro. I wasn't even aware it was in that program since I don't play on it (non-refilling time limit makes it impossible to play Gishki deckout). That is, assuming you're talking about the DevPro dueling program and not some user that I don't know.--Wolfgang DelaSangre (talkcontribs) 02:34, May 27, 2013 (UTC)
DevPro and YGOPro are unofficial sites, as Konami don't approve them. So we can be safe ignoring that. --iFredCat 02:46, May 27, 2013 (UTC)
