Fusion gate effect still works if Imperial Iron Wall is activated. Here's a prof lets compare Fusion Gate, and Dragon Mirror. Dragon mirrior wouldn't work because the text starte with Remove from play fusion material monster listed on a dark attribute dragon type fusion monster, however fusion gate still work because the text on the card end with this. card use as fusion material are remove from play instead of being sent to the graveyard.

I created a new topic for this because I did not want to remove the archived.96.44.82.53 (talk) 16:53, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

"Cards Cannot Be Removed From Play". This includes costs, & effects.

Thus Fusion Gate does not work.

eh what? That's nonsense. You can't activate a card effect if you know that it can't resolve properly. If you can't remove something there can't be summoned anything. -dest- (talkcontribs) 18:20, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, I sort of forgot the ruling on bottomless trap hole, according to the ruling page of bottomless trap hole this is what happen , if imperial iron wall is active you cannot activated bottomless, same for fusion gate, however if Imperial Iron wall is chain to the activation of bottomless trap hole the monster is destroy and sent to the graveyard, same thing would happen with fusion gate with a small difference make sure to chain imperial iron wall to the activation of the effect of fusion gate to make sure that fusion gate works for just that moment. The only draw back with this his you can only use fusion gate once.96.44.82.53 (talk) 20:56, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

bottomless automaticly destroys (and removes) during resolution. For Fusion Gate you have to select the monsters that should be removed from play. Since nothing can be removed from play you can't select anything to remove, so you can't use fusion materials and you can't fusion. -dest- (talkcontribs) 21:08, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

When a card effect require you to select monster card and spell, or trap card at resolution it is still consider to have happen automaticly, can someone found proof on how this two card would work if this situation would happen, maybe a konami ruling, or a juge list ruling, or test this situation in a video game of this like yu-gi-oh championship 2010, Is there a konami judge in this forum, he could post a link in this forum from another source that proof this situation?96.44.82.53 (talk) 11:54, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

In WC11:
If Imperial Iron Wall is already active, Fusion Gate's Ignition-like effect cannot be activated.
If Imperial Iron Wall is chained to Fusion Gate's Ignition-like effect, then Fusion Gate will resolve without effect. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:06, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
In other word, anything you try with Fusion Gate is blocked from successful. The only card that could work for Imperial Iron Wall's chain to; "Allure of Darkness", you discarded revealed instead of removed a DARK monster. --FredCat 12:36, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
For Allure, you reveal the card, not discard; Card Rulings:Allure of Darkness. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:43, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
Ah, I meant that. Thanks for gave me a head up. --FredCat 12:46, March 13, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Falzar, for the proof. For dragon mirror you can used any dragon type monster, I must of mixup some similar effect.96.44.82.53 (talk) 13:32, March 13, 2011 (UTC)
