I just wanted to know what people thought is better gladiator beast or six samurai. I'm trying to decide with one to play with.

  • They are both terrible cheaptastic themes. You should use Mammoth Graveyard ^_^; Danny Lilithborne 03:39, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
    • I agree that both are cheaptastic themes, but after having a Gladiator beast deck I can say that it's not really fun playing with them. I'd much rather play with my Spellcaster deck even though the Glad Beast deck wins and the Spellcaster deck doesn't (in tournament play). I've only played against a Six Samurai deck once, but it looks like a lot of fun. Maybe you should try that. Also, Six Samurai decks seem pretty cheap to make. • Gladiator Beasts are easily the better of the two decks and one of the best decks out there I mean they just mess your opponent up so bad with Gyzaraus and heraklinos it's not even funny so I definately think think Gladiator's. Monarch1 19:14, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
        • I'd Say the GB's because they have more destructive potential. Dmaster (Contribs Count) 19:20, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
          • I got to say that when I used to use a six samurai deck it used to easily beat a gladiator beast deck almost every time, but six samurai's are now a boring theme, most people relying on the Great Shogun Shien instead of the samurais themselves. • If you're looking to win, then I think Gladiator Beasts are the way to go, but IMO Six Samurai just seems like more fun. -- Sub 00:40, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

If I was to make a gladiator beast deck using any card even if it's banned or not can someone give me a list pls

SS is best.

I've used a ton of decks. Ancient gear deck, roid deck, Ele hero deck, Blackwings, GB, Worm, SS, Lightsworn you name it I have used it at least once (most of these decks werent mine though. Some people at tournies let me test out theirs. Only ones I created were AG, roid,SS and worm) And I have to say I loved Six Samurai the best. It fit my style, won me alot of tournies and was fun to play. GB just screw up the opponant. Not really to fun, and GB doesnt need much skill at all. SS however require some looking after. You have to keep the samurai on the field which at some times can be hard because of atk points.

So I would go six samurai

well i like the six samurai deck its fun. i would go for that instead. glad beast isnt that ok but its more competative to me. six samurai are like hey lets go have fun and win because its a good deck if you build it right,

Comparing 6Samurais with Glad Beasts, I've seen that Glad Beasts rely more on prolonged pressure since they trade swarm for controlling of the opponent's field, while 6Samurais tend to be a little more explosive in their crazy swarming tactics. However, the explosiveness of these guys means that they tend to screw up a little harder than Glad Beasts. Not to mention their monsters are also slightly weaker and would be squished easily by the stronger Glad Beasts (Laquari/Equeste/Darius, for example). Choose which one is better suited to your playing style and see. --Gadjiltron 08:55, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

Being competitive and winning is the funnest part of the game though, so Gladiator Beasts beat Six Samurai that way. Hebi No David 00:41, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

GB vs. SS

I love to shorten archetypes to two letters. LS, BW, etc.. I have played with SS and GBs at one point in my life. I will say, without any bias, that you should use...well...I'll explain each deck, and then you can decide.
GBs are all about control. They are not afraid of a Blackwing's swarm, or a JD or two. They always protect their monsters, although most of them are very weak. They usually don't swarm, but a well built deck can overwhelm the opponent. They require much skill and experience to use properly. But they are one of the most powerful decks, if not the most powerful. They can be outsped, though. GBs (generally) also have a hard time dealing with with big monsters. Using GBs is just as fun as using Six Samurai, and don't cost extraordinarily more then them.
Six Samurai decks are very powerful, but slightly unstable. This is how there plays can go: Normal summon a Six Sam, Special Summon Grand Master, Special Summon Shien. Their monsters can get even stronger with the addition of Solidarity, and can gain alot of advantage through Gateway. Even with the abillity to pull 6000 ATK out of their butts, they are weak to control decks, like GBs. If your Normal Summon gets disrupted, it is all downhill from there. In that way, they are like Blackwings. They also have the problem of being outsped, but a properly-built deck can solve that problem. They take less skill to use properly, but are less competitive. They are Tier 2, 1.5 at best. I play competitively, just to let you know. -bewk

Six Sams can be fairly competitive like the person above said, if a good build is used, personally i prefer them to Gald Beasts, so I would recommend them, plus Turret Warrior is a viable option to use, and Synchro's also, but I wouldnt recommend that.
