Is it possible to detatch both OVU? after destroying only 1 monster. After all, it's effect doesn't specify "Once per turn". Xtariqx (talk • contribs) 15:00, January 25, 2013 (UTC)
- It's impossible. It can only activate its effect when it destroys the monster; after it does, you can't activate it again since the requirement wasn't fulfilled again (you did not destroy a monster; otherwise, it would be treated as chaining to its own effect's activation), also priority passes to your opponent. You still detach 1 Xyz Material from Grenosaurus after it destroys only 1 monster by battle; you can't detach both materials at once. The only way for Grenosaurus to detach both materials in one turn is to allow it to attack twice with some other card effect (like, say, Shark Fortress). Anyone else here can correct me if I'm wrong. It's like you're trying to playing two copies of "Gorz the Emissary of Darkness" after you took 1 hit in the direct attack. Just equip that dinosaur with some kind of Double-Attack Equip Card then you can use both OVU in same Battle Phase, in that case if you attacked two monsters at that point. --iFredCat 16:25, January 25, 2013 (UTC)
