This is what it is currently, as I am trying to find ways to make it stronger:

Anything I could change? I will eventually be adding monsters to my extra deck, but the only one I am thinking of right now is Number 32: Shark Drake. I am also looking to maybe add some of the cards in the side deck to the main deck, replacing some cards, so I wont have the need for a side deck. Help would be appreciated. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 02:50, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

Very scattered, even for a WATER Deck. I have a feeling that you're simply splashing in some cards simply because "It's WATER, so it should go in a WATER Deck". I see Atlanteans, I see Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness without any ammo, I see A Legendary Ocean which tends to interfere a little with Xyz Summons, and I also see LV5 monsters for a Number 19: Freezadon which looks confused over why it's sitting around. Perhaps with a brief explanation of the Deck's intended strategy ("do anything" will not be accepted this time) I could help out a little better. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:10, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

The decks FIRST objective is to get Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon out onto the field a.s.a.p., while also stopping my opponent from damaging my points. This is a deck that I am currently using, not on duel network, but in the real world, and I just never got any ammo for orca from any of the booster packs. The only reason why I use orca is the atk points while ocean is on the field. I have Freezadon for more XYZ ammo, and hopefully further increase the atk power of 17, or use it's effect for other xyz monsters. Also, on that not that this is a deck in reality, it is what you say it is, a deck with water monsters that where thrown in together, not because I wanted to, but because it was ether that or weaker water monsters. I hope that cleared things up. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 21:07, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

Still seeking help for this deck. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 03:26, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

I have a feeling that building around Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon will mean that you'll want to use A Legendary Ocean to reduce the Levels of stronger WATER monsters and make them available for Poseidra's summon. For that, max out A Legendary Ocean and Warrior of Atlantis for searching it out. Remove Terraforming along the way, once you max those out. Other awesome Sea Serpents include Armed Sea Hunter and Spined Gillman, but of course more copies of the Atlanteans (barring Atlantean Pikeman) are also good.
No need for Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness since it'll need its ammo to be of good use. If you're going to run a LV5 WATER monster for strong beatsticks with ALO, you're better off using Giga Gagagigo and the like. Suijin also kinda pales in comparison to both Levia-Dragon - Daedalus and Poseidra. Since you're putting a great focus on Sea Serpents, there isn't a strong need to use the Sharks or Big Whale. Without that many LV5s in the Deck, you'll then have little reason to run Number 19: Freezadon. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 09:32, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

What your overall saying is maximize my potential for a sea serpent deck? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 20:52, October 9, 2013 (UTC)

That's pretty much it. A focus on Poseidra will usually request this sort of focus, especially if you want to maximize the number of legal targets for Call of the Atlanteans or Legendary Atlantean Tridon. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 01:16, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

Ok, first I want to get rid of the side deck. Anything in there I could use to replace in the main deck? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 12:24, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

Suggestions from the Side Deck to include:
  • Armed Sea Hunter is amazing effect negation, even after it leaves the field.
  • Atlantean Heavy Infantry is good for swarming the field for swarming the field for Poseidra, and can even combo with Tridon or Poseidon itself to get its second effect running.
  • Hydro Pressure Cannon can be useful if you're building towards a bunch of LV3 WATER monsters and buffing them.
  • An extra Mystical Space Typhoon is always good for defusing potential or existing S/T threats.
Suggestions to remove from both Main and Side Decks:

Ok, now what about the other 6 monsters and moray? Also, among the cards I have I was able to find some of the cards I use to use in my water deck; another ALO, Power Frame, SWA - Aoi, Neo Aqua Madoor, Spined Gillman, another Codarius, Mobius, and Reese. should I add any of them? Finally, I would start liking to know what cards I should definitely take out in my main deck, however I would like to keep at least 3 lv. 5 monsters in my deck for preparations for 32. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 20:51, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

Or is it possible I'd be able to xyz summon 32 without 3 lv. 5s in the deck? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 01:09, October 11, 2013 (UTC)

Spined Gillman, Codarus, and the extra ALO copy are always welcome. Summoning Number 32: Shark Drake would not be a primary goal for this Deck (and besides, there are usually better alternatives) unless you so happen to have your LV4 monsters out without ALO around. Intentionally sending ALO to the Graveyard to use Codarus' effect can open up a good opportunity to Summon Shark Drake anyways. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:32, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

So I can ditch the lv. 5s as I will more than likely have plenty of lv. 4 monsters? Understandable. What about the other cards you haven't yet talked about? should I use them too, or scrape the idea of using them? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 18:16, October 13, 2013 (UTC)

After looking through what cards I have, testing it in life and on duel network, this is what I have:

To make this "Sea serpent" water deck better, would you suggest my getting another Structure Deck: Realm of the Sea Emperor, or maybe get other cards that aren't in the S.D.? I know this is already getting there as this card list has beaten all my other decks, even my developing Blue-eyes deck. Thanks if you can help. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 13:19, November 13, 2013 (UTC)

If no one responds to my post within a day or two, will assume it it tournament worth, and can win with little to no problems. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 22:30, November 13, 2013 (UTC)

>Tournament-worthy while you still have many single cards
You're probably going to have a bad day if you run into a tournament with the Deck still in that state. I'll try to make sure that it doesn't happen, or that your day won't turn out as bad.
As I have mentioned, put in more copies of the cards that work well while still adhering to the Sea Serpent theme. Yes, do pick up a second Structure Deck so that you have more copies of the cards that matter. Cards that you would need to include more of:
And cards you want to take out:
  • Mermaid Archer - The Atlanteans will prove to be better beatsticks than her, without needing you to lose a potential attacker.
  • Terraforming - Who needs that, once you max out Warrior of Atlantis?
  • Divine Dragon Aquabizarre - I find it rather unwieldy to use. You don't get the Spell back immediately.
  • Icy Crevasse - I see this more suitable for Side Deck material for opponents a little too trigger happy with effect-based destruction.
  • Tornado Wall and Waboku - Aegis usually does it better with the ability to protect from effect-based destruction. If you insist on running Tornado Wall, I'd advise never going above 1 copy, because it's easily a dead draw if you don't have Umi-duplicates.

Ok, when I have the time, I am getting another one. Now lets talk extra deck, What do you suggest (from the currently available cards for the TCG in N.A.) that I add to the extra deck? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 03:44, November 14, 2013 (UTC)

How is this:

I added Numeron Force because in the future I will be getting Number 101 and Number C101. anything else I could change with this deck, or is it good? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 23:05, November 14, 2013 (UTC)

For some reason, it feels like I missed something for this deck, could you help me clear if I do or don't need to change the deck? --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 02:32, November 16, 2013 (UTC)

Again, I am about ready to assume that this deck is tournament ready, unless someone says otherwise. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 01:25, November 19, 2013 (UTC)

I now assume that this deck can participate in tournaments. Thanks for the help.--I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talkcontribs) 22:02, November 20, 2013 (UTC)

Good luck out there (pepper your angus). --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 00:41, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
