I was having a duel against a friend, and I discarded Ceruli and then used his effect to discard Sillva, since Sillva was discard by an opponent effect (Due to Ceruli) his second effect activated, but my friend only had 1 card on his hand, we checked Sillva's rules and the rule that says "If this card is discarded from your hand by the opponent's card effect, and they only have 1 card in their hand, then you still can Special Summon "Sillva, Warlord of Dark World", but the other part of the effect will not resolve because the opponent does not have 2 cards to select." is labeled as unofficial by Konami.
So we didn't knew if we should apply the effect or not, could someone please clarify this for me? I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance! Kentaru Z (talk • contribs) 21:51, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
- If it's not official, it is also true since Konami didn't declare if that actually work or not. (By declare; I mean that they post the ruling that say Sillva would forcing to shuffling the reminding card into the Deck from their hand). --iFredCat 21:53, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
"Sillva's" effect says "...your opponent returns exactly 2 cards from their hand...", so you'll be able to Special Summon it, but not return that only card to your opponent's Deck. --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 19:00, July 30, 2012 (UTC)
