Forum:Help with old style Magician deck

Hi people I'm new so thank you if your reading this. I am a duelist in the UK and in our school we run many synchro decks, which I als use but I really want to make my Main Magician deck stronger, it was quite decent up until the black mob of blackwings, fortune ladies and stardust assault mode descended and now I see it playing second fiddle.

I run a deck based around stall/ destruction (hence the afore mentioned decks being a problem) and use magical dimension to bring out strong monsters. I see the main problems being: -Too slow... kind of against swarms like blackwings -Too many high levels -No set theme (become beyond adaptable to dunno what I'm aiming for) -Too stubborn (I refuse to use synchros in this deck)

I also have a decent counter/ tempest deck which is weaker in 1-2-1 but better against other decks. I want a deck capable of competing with blackwings at summoning and defeating synchro summons like stardust (the latter is more important). I would also like it to be themed around Yugi and Dark Magician and no tuning. I think my deck hs all the basic card covered and pretty good stalls but I can't seem to stem the flow of other decks. It has a basic quality about it which I believe to be a problem.

Just using Royal Oppression and some kind of Life Points gain support, it will ultimate stop them, as well as get Solemn Judgment and few s/t destroy cards stopper included. I am sure they can help you stop the top tier decks. Oh, and I added the forum that can help your list separate and make more easily to read. --FredCat100 23:48, March 9, 2010 (UTC)
