I believe the Damage Step ends when a monster is sent the the Grave. So does that mean that Hero Signal activates outside of the Damage Step?--Yugioh DED 18:22, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
Hero Signal is activated during substep 7 of the Damage Step. This is when monsters that are destroyed by battle are sent to the graveyard. See Breakdown of the Battle Phase.-- HHTurtle (Talk) 18:31, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
