Forum:Heroic deck help

I was thinking of what cards i would want to use if I built a Heroic deck. I'm not entirely sure what to put in the deck, but this is what I had an idea of for the deck. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. (talk • contribs) 20:50, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

First that comes to mind is Heroic Gift is a bad card why give your opponent a chance to beat you all so you could draw two cards. Night watchman is ok but a third challenger would be better. Whats the point of inferno reckless summoning? SnowyG (talk • contribs) 06:04, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

Ok, ill think of a card to replace H. gift, but I was hoping for at least one of each heroic monster for the deck (y i have watchman). the point of I.R.S. is to get more extra swords on the field to xyz summon a rank 4 monster.--I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. Okay, so here are my thoughts: Monsters: Ditch the Gearfried thing, you don't have enough equip spells to use him well, replace with two Summoner Monks. It'll help get out Extra Sword for xyz summoning as well as Inferno Reckless Summon. Replace Junk Synchron and Marauding Captain with Rose, Warrior of Revenge and Goblindbergh. Those are both level 4 and thus can be used for an xyz summon as well. By extension, Speed Warrior serves no purpose now. Replace him with, well, any warrior, such as a third Double Lance. Evocator Chevalier suffers the same fate as Gearfried, and thus should be replaced with Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak, who is stronger and has a better effect. Within the extra deck, Armory Arm and the Junks can no longer be summoned. Replace them with more utility, such as Daigusto Emeral, Maestroke, and Gagaga Cowboy. I'd also recommend filling those remaining 5 slots with "Just-in-cases", or synchro/xyz you don't normally use but might be able to.

Spells: Release Restraint is out. I'd suggest replacing Fighting Spirit with United We Stand, as it's a superior version. Drop Phoenix Blade and put in any staple spell, such as Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, Book of Moon, or Pot of Avarice. If you're deadset on equip spells, use ones that allow for piercing or multiple attacks, as Heroics are capable of generating high attack values.

Traps: Heroic Gift: Using this card is like begging to lose. You have to get your opponent down to the kill zone, then you give them all their points back. Put Torrential Tribute or a Solemn in instead. Replace Sakuretsu Armor with Mirror Force or Dimensional Prison, as they're superior versions of it. Trap Hole should definitely be replaced with Bottomless Trap Hole.
