Horn of the Phantom Beast vs Optional Trigger Effects
If a monster equipped with Horn of the Phantom Beast attacks a monster who's trigger effect activates when it's sent to the graveyard, such as Dupe Frog, does Dupe frog miss its timing to search? (Since the mandatory effect of drawing from Horn will activate first)

- Both effs activate at the same time and form a chain. It is called "SEGOC".--Lê (talk • contribs) 05:25, August 15, 2012 (UTC)

- The effect of "Horn of the Phantom Beast" is mandatory, it will be Chain Link 1, while your opponent's monster's effect will be Chain Link 2 (including optional like "Dupe Frog" or mandatory like "Sangan"), so your opponent will use its effect, then you draw a card. --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 13:30, August 15, 2012 (UTC)
